We had a fantastic two-night stay here, the location was right in the heart of the city with all the amenities we could ask for, and the nearby grounds and gardens were stunning - plus Daisy was an amazing host.

Perfect base for travelling to Thirsk and sightseeing. Room with the garden, beautiful grounds, for instance. Brilliant location in the middle of the city, excellent value. Nearby Golden Fleece - best spot for evening drinks.

It was beautiful and magnificent in the middle of the city. I liked central heating, a work desk, and a TV set provided.

The 2 bedrooms were cozy and inviting, making me feel right at home. And let's not forget the flat-screen TV - perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The private entrance added an extra touch of exclusivity. Loved it!
The kitchen was a tad bit small for my liking, but hey, that's just my preference. I'm sure others would still find it perfectly adequate.

Great value for money and the room was fantastic - comfortable beds, clean, and amazing views. The location was brilliant with plenty of shops, banks, and eateries nearby. The staff, especially Zillah, provided excellent communication and Stella the dog gave us a warm and friendly welcome. Appreciated the thoughtful products in the bathroom and kitchen, including soft towels. Milk and a bottle of wine were a nice touch upon arrival.
The breakfast option could be improved with a wider variety of choices.

The location was brilliant, with lots of shops, banks, and places to eat. The apartment at Thirsk Hall was just great - the beds were so comfy and it was very clean. The stunning views and garden were a treat. The oven was a bit fiddly, but we soon got the hang of it. The radiators provided plenty of heat, and my daughter figured out the tricky TV. Stella the dog gave us a friendly welcome, and we appreciated the products in the bathroom and kitchen. Soft towels and top-notch communication from Zillah made our stay even better. The items in the fridge were a nice touch too.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Garden View: We had the most delightful morning in our apartment, sipping tea and enjoying the picturesque garden view. It felt like sitting in a serene painting, with vibrant flowers and adorable ducks waddling around. Absolutely enchanting!
Lack of Football Field: Unfortunately, there was no dedicated area for the kids to play football. Despite the vast gardens, the presence of beautiful art and the ducks breeding on the land made it impractical.

Our stay at Thirsk Hall South Wing, North Yorkshire was absolutely delightful! The location in Thirsk was perfect, with plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. The apartment itself was clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The views and garden surrounding the property were absolutely stunning. We felt very welcomed with the thoughtful items in the fridge and the bathroom. The communication with Zillah, our host, was excellent and greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Thirsk.
Additionally, the shower situation was not ideal, as the host had provided a plastic retro fit unit over the taps that kept slipping off. It was a bit difficult to control the hot water and it would spray everywhere, which was not good for my children.

The location of this hotel in Thirsk was absolutely fantastic. It's surrounded by shops, banks, and great places to eat, making it so convenient. The apartment itself was impressive, with incredibly comfortable beds and a high level of cleanliness throughout. The beautiful views and garden added to the overall charm. The communication with Zillah, the host, was top-notch. The addition of products in the bathroom and kitchen, along with soft towels, really made us feel welcome.
The double bed was a bit soft for our liking, so we ended up sleeping on the floor for safety reasons with our baby. The freezer was completely iced-up, making it necessary for me to use a large knife to make space for our baby milk freezer pack.

The apartment at Thirsk Hall South Wing was such a cozy retreat! The bedrooms were spacious, and the flat-screen TV made evenings extra relaxing. The kitchen was a bonus for making quick snacks. It felt like a home away from home!
Personally, I found the private entrance a bit hard to locate.

This apartment has 2 cozy bedrooms, which made our stay comfortable and relaxed. As a family with small kids, having separate rooms was a big plus for us.
Personally, I found the private entrance a bit tricky to navigate with two young kids. However, I understand that some guests might appreciate the added privacy and security it offers.
